I've always wondered why there's such a difference in comments between littlejohn's articles and main articles on the daily mail's website. On a regular news article, the comments seem to be screened, so that comments that disagree with the article's portrayal of the story, or offer corrections, or whatever, don't get through (I know that I've corrected some things and haven't had the comment appear), whereas support for the article gets through almost instantly (even if it's written as a parody, again by me). But on Littlejohn's columns, the comments seem split between people who agree with him and people who are rabidly anti-littlejohn. You get comments correcting things in the column, people outright insulting him, and people being scathingly sarcastic towards him. What's up with that? Does the DM not like him, or is it just standard procedure for the comments threads on columnists?
