The world is for thousands a freak show; the images flicker past and vanish; the impressions remain flat and unconnected in the soul. Thus they are easily led by the opinions of others, are content to let their impressions be shuffled and rearranged and evaluated differently.

Too many journalists, not enough news, perhaps? PDF Print E-mail

How can a newspaper write an article stating that somebody claims one thing, and in the same article disprove these claims, and then expect it to be worthy of the news? Why write the article in the first place? It seems like a big waste of time, either that or they're just trying to make people think the country has gone mad, in which case they are sadly doing just what they want.
