The world is for thousands a freak show; the images flicker past and vanish; the impressions remain flat and unconnected in the soul. Thus they are easily led by the opinions of others, are content to let their impressions be shuffled and rearranged and evaluated differently.

The Mail has been leading the charge to critise the BBC for allowing Nick Griffin on Questiontime. I know, entirely predictable given their allergy to the BBC. However, the truth of the matter is that the BBC acted appropriately and responsibly and Griffin was probably taken to task on the show. At the same time, as Uponnothing points out it is the constand peddaling of hate-filled myths by the press in general and the Mail in particular that fuel the BNP. If it wasn't true it would be very very funny. The trouble is, it is true and hence isn't remotely funny.

This is a comment on "We're not supporting the BNP, honest"
